Note that in this problem, all we know is the parental phenotypes, not their genotypes. It is possible that both parents are heterozygous (IA i ). In which case, it would be possible to produce a type O child 25% of the time (see Punnett square diagram below).

The baby may indeed belong to these parents. Other genetic tests would be required to know for sure one way or another.
